I found an inspection mirror at Checker Auto with a handle that telescopes to about 17 inches. The mirror is about 1 inch in diameter and can be tilted and swiveled in relation to the handle. I extend the handle, tilt the mirror to about 45 degrees, and hold it down by the oil inspection window while I'm astride the Savage. Oil level checks are now easy!
